Welcome to our April Newsletter.
Haven't we been so lucky with the recent weather? We have been enjoying more time outside and especially spotting the little lambs in the local fields.
There are some lovely updates to share with you below this month.

Our Easter Holiday Oral Health Education sessions were a hit!
Don't worry if you missed out, you can book onto sessions all year round. The school holidays are a particularly good time to fit these in to your family's busy schedule though.
Would you believe it, the next school holiday is only 4 weeks away, so now is a good time to give us a call and get booked in.
April marked stress awareness month. A useful reminder to check in with yourself and those around you. This year's theme was 'lead with love', this was to encourage compassion and kindness towards both yourself and others.
We are lucky to have Marisa, a highly trained and experienced psychotherapist, as part of our team here at Smiles in Tandem. So for those times when you or your loved ones need some extra support, we have a confidential, safe space with a skilled professional to help.

Emma impressed us all with her fabulous Rapunzel for the Scapegoat Hill Scarecrow Festival over the Easter weekend.
What fabulous creativity and all fundraising was for the local junior school too.
FOR OUR PLANET
We have introduced Hygea dispensers to Smiles in Tandem, which is another step towards being a greener practice.
This boring looking bit of kit dispenses paper towels soaked in disinfectant which replaces our single use clinical wipes, reducing our carbon footprint by nearly a ton of CO2e every year!

Remember, when your friends join Smiles in Tandem, we plant another tree, with another 2 new trees being planted in the UK this month.
