FOR OUR PATIENTS
We have got 2 exciting FREE events on offer this May. Both designed to keep you and your loved one's smiles happy and healthy.
Firstly, our free oral cancer check day is back! On the 11th of May - you can drop in or book in for this between 10am and 2pm - tell your friends and family!!
Also, we have another Oral Health Education Session on the 27th of May - again drop in or book in for this 9am - 5pm - the perfect (free) school holiday activity for the little smiles in your house!
We continually gather your feedback through reviews and so no longer do the annual patient survey. If you ever want to email us about your experience with us then please do just respond to this email or give us a call anytime throughout the year.
FOR OUR COMMUNITY
The team enjoyed a morning with one of our favourite training providers, Jill Webb. Jill spent the session updating us on all things safeguarding. We love to keep our knowledge and skills refreshed - you are in safe hands with us!
A very warm welcome to our TWO Smiles Newbies this month!!
Please do note that our two new starters are joining us because we're growing again (and for some extra support as maternity cover), we haven't lost any of our wonderful team.
Firstly, we are introducing our new nurse Beth! She has over 14 years experience as a dedicated dental nurse, bringing care, skills and a calm presence to every appointment.
Outside of work Beth enjoys fun and family time.
Next up, we are introducing Anna. Anna is a highly qualified dentist from Brazil and she is currently joining us to gain valuable experience in a UK dental setting as she prepares for her exams to practice as a dentist here in the UK.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys Brazilian dancing and eating great vegetarian food (just not cooking it)!
FOR OUR PLANET
As you may recall, last year we installed an alternative cleaning system that doesn't use traditional plastic-based wipes.
We have received a certificate that provides independent, evidence-backed recognition that we have:
Reduced emissions by choosing a lower-impact alternative
Cut plastic use and clinical waste volume
Taken a step towards Net Zero
It's always great to receive recognition for the efforts we are continually making for a happier, planet for us all to enjoy.
