FOR OUR PATIENTS
We are super excited to announce that we now have a CBCT machine at Smiles in Tandem.
This means we can take full mouth x rays and cone beam CT scans (3D x rays) right here in the practice, speeding up the treatment process for you and we're doing the scans for cheaper for our own patients than you'd be paying elsewhere.
The scanner will improve aligner fittings and enhance our implant treatments by providing the most detailed information prior to starting your care journey. It will also be a game-changer for those of you who struggle with traditional intra-oral x rays because we can now use the new scanner to take these routine images too.
We are so excited to have it all up and running. Feel free to have a peek next time you are visiting.

Smiles in Tandem is 4 years old!!
We are so proud of the whole team and all of our achievements. Over the past four years we have transformed countless smiles, the team has grown, the building and on-site services has expanded and we have massively reduced our carbon footprint too.
Thank you to our fabulous team for everything you do and a big thank you to all our wonderful patients too! We really appreciate you choosing and supporting our family business.
Here are some of our highlights from this past year to celebrate.
FOR OUR PLANET
Most of you have been with us from the start of our sustainability journey and will have seen us progress through the bronze, silver and gold awards over the last four years.
As you know, we have been sustainability 'champions' for some time now by raising awareness of and normalising sustainability.
We have now officially received the Sustainability Champions Award through the FDI World Dental Federation's Sustainability in Dentistry platform. This recognises our contribution to sustainability both within the practice and in the healthcare community.
This is the final stage of the award scheme but that does not mean we will be stopping there. As you know we have a carbon reduction plan that we shared with you last time (available on our website) and we are fully committed to continuing to reduce our impact on the planet whilst we continue to care for your smile.
