May has felt like a very early summer this year and it has been wonderful to enjoy the blue skies most days. At the same time, with the reservoirs near empty, it is a tangible reminder of how our climate is changing and why sustainable action is so important now more than ever.
There is so much we want to update you on from the last month, with another musical reference to Queen (two months running now), you might have guessed it, we are a family of music lovers.

We have medical emergencies training every year to make sure we're prepared to support all our patients in the unlikely event of someone needing urgent medical care.
It's a heavy subject but we enjoyed another fun and informative session. You are in safe hands here!

Welcome back Emma!
We are delighted to have Emma back from maternity leave, we missed her lots.
Introducing our new practice manager, Sarah!
She has a dental background of 19 years working in NHS and private practices.She is very passionate about patient care and building good relationships.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 boys, going on holidays and meals out with family and friends. She also enjoys reading and watching a good Netflix series.
A very warm welcome to Sarah, we are very happy she has joined us at Smiles. Be sure to say 'hello' at your next visit.
FOR OUR PLANET
Following the fantastic progress and achievements we have made becoming a carbon-neutral dental practice, we are now stepping up to become sustainability champions.
This means sharing the knowledge and experience we have gained to guide and encourage others to do the same.
Karl has already delivered presentations on both a local and national level and we have much more planned ahead too.
