This autumn, Jules our Dental Hygienist was fortunate enough to take part in a Periodontal Masterclass in Liverpool run by one of the country’s leading Periodontists, Ian Dunn.
The course covered all the latest techniques and guidelines relating to Periodontal Disease (gum disease) so that Jules can implement these in the Practice.
It also gave her the opportunity to meet other hygienists from many different areas of the UK to collaborate on Oral Health Education and Patient Care issues.
As you can see, there was any interesting list of 'essential' items for the clinic that day.
It was Jules’ first visit to Liverpool and it’s fair to say she’ll be making a return visit in the near future!
FOR OUR PLANET
You might have spotted that Smiles in Tandem is now a solar powered dental practice!
This is another huge step forward on our sustainability journey. Using clean, renewable energy reduces our carbon footprint further again.
The lovely Octopuses installing the system were the most delightful visitors too!!
