FOR OUR PATIENTS
As one of our valued patients at Smiles in Tandem you get an oral cancer check included at each one of your dental health reviews.
We know however, not everyone has a regular dentist, or perhaps they're not sure they're getting a full oral cancer check.
Please let your friends and family know we're running our free oral cancer check day again on the 11th of May.
A quick and simple check could save a life - spread the word!

FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Introducing Umaira our new apprentice dental nurse, she is enjoying learning new skills, supporting the team and building her confidence with patients each day. Umaira is enthusiastic and keen to develop within dentistry.
Outside of work she attends the gym regularly and enjoys reading.
FOR OUR PLANET
Having completed our measurement of our carbon footprint for the 2024-25 year, we have decided to make a contribution to a UK Impact Fund through Ecologi. Giving a little bit back is our way of trying to make up for the greenhouse gases we generate through the year and choosing an impact fund allows this contribution to be used in the most efficient way.
We can see that so far this has helped restore wildflowers, wetlands & wildlife as well as research all here in the UK.
We are continually working on becoming more sustainable. If anyone wants to know more or for some light bedtime reading, you can find our full carbon reduction plan on our website.
We're also planning to participate in Big Plastic Count again, this year it's running from the 9th to the 15th of March. If you want to take part at home too you can find out how here.
